Scott is an industrial and transportation designer driving development of delightful product experiences.
As an automotive and transportation designer, Scott drives value for brands by creating compelling visual stories through his design work. He has over 9 years of experience in the automotive industry, leading design development for OEMs and startups alike on projects ranging from concept to production. Leveraging a collaborative mindset and fluency in Mandarin Chinese, Scott excels at building consensus and delivering results.
Scott currently works for Navistar, driving the future design development International Truck. He has previously worked for Icona Design Group in Shanghai and California, as well as automotive startup Indigo Technologies.
Scott is active in design education and believes in empowering future designers, instructing Master’s
transportation design students at the College for Creative Studies.

Rapid Visualization and Validation
Scott is able to rapidly visualize and validate solutions at varying levels of fidelity, from 2D sketches and renderings to 3D CAD models, VR experience, and animation. This 2D to 3D workflow brings clarity and focus to the design process, ensuring confidence in ergonomics and overall impression.
