WM Motor was looking to develop and produce a third SUV after the EX5 and EX6, integrating the latest in smart tech and self-driving technologies while continuing to expand their lineup. As the lead designer developing the exterior design for production, I spent over six months working in WM motor’s R&D center in Chengdu, China. I collaborated with cross-functional teams of engineers, digital modelers, product managers, and manufacturing suppliers for each and every component to solve potential manufacturing issues while keeping all high-level stakeholders aligned on the original selected design vision.
